CRJP welcomes new group of members

The Council for Responsible Jewellery Practices (CRJP) has 15 new members, including Bulgari SpA and Goodmans Jewelers, Diamond Intelligence reports.
Currently working to put in place a sustainable standard throughout the jewellery supply chain, the council works to promote sustainability within the jewellery industry.
The original 39 members have been joined by 15 others, including manufacturers, distributors, traders, cutters and polishers and trade associations.
The other new members are: Aurafin LLC, Boucheron, Brown Goldsmiths & Company, Cendres et Metaux SA, Colormasters Gem Corp, Cunningham Fine Jewelry, DN Gems Corp, Helzberg Diamonds, Lazare Kaplan International, Leber Jeweler, Lux Bond & Green, Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America and Reis-Nichols.
The CRJP works to encourage consumer confidence across the entire gold and diamond jewellery industries. It has been making strides to ensure each part of the supply chain is represented and the new additions are sure to help in that respect.
"We are pleased to welcome these leading organisations to our membership," said programme director Santiago Porto. "We look forward to working with them to raise the standards within the diamond and gold jewellery industry."
