Commemorative coins in China and the UK

The People's Bank of China (PBC) has issued two commemorative coins depicting the Jian-10 fighter plane.
According to the People's Daily, the bank has issued a silver and gold coin with the latter being 99.9 per cent pure.
The 23mm diameter gold coin is legal tender and valued at 150 yuan (£9.90), with one side depicting the fighter plane in flying formation and the other side carrying China's national emblem, the year it was issued and China's national title.
Meanwhile, the UK's Royal Mint is set to launch a commemorative gold coin of its own, in celebration of the 100th birthday of the Scout movement.
The birthday of the movement falls on August 1st this year, a century after Robert Baden-Powell hosted the first camp in Dorset.
A gold and silver 50p have been minted, with the former struck in 22-carat gold and carrying the famous Scout motto "Be prepared".
Only 1,250 of the coins will be issued, the Royal Mint states on its website.
