Eva Longoria dressed to impress at a recent charity event, at which the Desperate Housewives star gleamed in a gold necklace.

The actress's glamorous accessories were on show for the the You've Gotta Have Heart benefit, organised to raise awareness of heart disease in women and held on Monday April 28th at California's Geffen Playhouse in Westwood.

"We are touring the country, using the arts to reach out to women and make them aware of this epidemic that is affecting 500,000 of them each year," commented Carole Isenberg and Pamela Serure, co-founders of benefit organiser Events of the Heart (EOH).

Longoria was joined by her co-stars in the ABC hit show, Dana Delany and Brenda Strong, whose acting credits beyond the programme's Mary Alice include a bit-part in iconic sitcom Seinfeld as Elaine's nemesis, Sue Ellen Mischke.

Currently seen advertising Magnums in the UK, Longoria teamed her gold necklace with a purple dress and shoes to match, according to reports.
