18-carat gold collection evokes Venice

Friday 27th 2008f June, 2008
A new gold jewellery collection calls to mind the exotic classicism of Venice, it has been reported.

The Venetian Collection from Jude and Frances attempts to recreate the way in which the city's beauty sinks into its visitors' hearts as it gradually sinks deeper into the sea, asserts ViaLuxe.

Comprising wide rings, bangles and drop earrings, the range is reportedly faithful to the destination's unique atmosphere.

The collection, made from 18-carat white gold and 18-carat yellow gold, "brings one back to the Carnival festivities and colourful, gold-laden masks that fill the shops of the cobble stoned streets of Venice".

Each item does justice to an ancient, car-free city that is unique in its exoticism and history, the report notes.

"Breathtaking and delicate jewellery upholds the uniqueness that is Venice," it explains.
