Goldrich completes drilling at La Jarra

Thursday 28th 2008f August, 2008
Drill results for work completed on the La Jarra zone of the Marisol gold prospect in Sonora, Mexico have been released by Goldrich Mining.

A total of two diamond-core drill holes have now been completed on the site, rounding out the last phase of a ten-hole drilling programme designed to evaluate the continuity and grade of gold mineralisation on the site.

Results for the first eight drill holes completed on the site were published in June.

Altogether, Goldrich Mining asserts that the drill results demonstrate a similar style of gold mineralisation to other deposits in Santa Gertrudis, Mexico and the US state of Nevada.

The firm is currently evaluating whether an intersection on the site with variable gold grade warrants additional exploration.

Among Goldich Mining's other properties are the Chandalar site in the state of Alaska, the Motherlode prospect in California, the Polaris Taku site in Canada and the Natalka project in Russia.
