Fair featuring gold heads to Galway

Antique experts and dealers from across Ireland will be meeting at a hotel this weekend in order to showcase and browse a number of precious items, including gold artefacts.The Galway Advertiser reports that the Galway Antiques and Collectables Fair will have collectables including gold and platinum jewellery, furniture, china, art, prints, linen and porcelain for people to view.
Taking place on July 25th at the Galway Bay Hotel, the event will also attempt to encourage young people to get involved in collecting, with stands featuring stamps and old books.
In addition to this will be stalls selling vintage clothing, accessories and jewellery.
Elsewhere, the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum in Key West is set to display a host of artefacts recovered from the Nuestra Senora de Atocha shipwreck off the coast of Florida over two decades ago, CBS4 recently reported.
When visiting the museum, people can expect to see a number of gold items, including a chalice and plate.
